Scribes dominate invitational presscon

Eight students of Aldersgate College Science High School shone in the Joint Schools Press Conference held at the Sacred Heart Center in Saint Mary’s Unversity, Bayombong July 17-18, 2009.

The winners in English category were: Harold James Dawang, 1st place in Editorial Writing; Rizelle Jeane Fernandez, 1st place in Sports Writing; Randy Dominguez, 2nd place in Sports Writing; Jcel Luna, 3rd place in Copyreading and Headline Writing and 5th place in Editorial Writing; Jenelyn Toluan, 2nd place in Editorial Writing and 9th place in Copyreading and Headline Writing.

Dominguez ranked 5th in Individual highest pointers, Luna ranked 6th and Dawang ranked 9th in English category.

Meanwhile, the winners in Filipino category were: Rivalyn Magday, 1st place in Feature Writing, 2nd place in Editorial Writing and 4th place in Copyreading and Headline Writing; Neil Carlo Rivera, 1st place in Editorial Writing and 3rd place in Copyreading and Headline Writing; Fernandez, 2nd place in Feature Writing and in Copyreading and Headline Writing; Roel Valenzuela, 4th place in Editorial Writing.
