Rivera excels in Nat’l Science Quest

With his Investigatory Project “The Viability of Pako in Increasing the Metabolic Rate of Guinea Pigs”, Neil Carlo L. Rivera bagged 9th place in the investigatory project competition in the recently concluded National Science Quest held at Tabaco City, Albay on February 3-5, 2010.

Rivera was one of the 13 finalists who was squeezed out of the 45 participants from all over the country to undertake project defense and qualify for the congress. He eventually ranked 9 during the finals.

Rivera represented Region 2 and Nueva Vizcaya after winning second place in the regional level.

Mrs. Cathelyn C. Mariano his project adviser/ coach and Mrs Felicidad O. Furigay, his science teacher were with him.
