AC family marks 54th JFG birthday

Getting tough at rough times, AC Executive Dr. Junifen F. Gauuan celebrated his 54th birthday with the AC family last June 24 at the Audio-Visual room enthemed “Committed to Bringing AC to the GLOBAL Future. The ACians communed in a convocation led by the school chaplain, Rev. Jonathan Razon, jazzed up by the Praise and Worship Team’s inspirational songs. Mr. Jenifer R. Tallungan, Dean of Student Affairs wished the global president to be always equipped with cyber strength and galactic wisdom in his opening remarks. Everyone’s spirit leveled up with the presentations of different departments as a tribute to the president, spelled out GLOBAL: G for gem by the Elementary School; L for leader by the High School; O for Outstanding by the School of Medical Sciences and College of Engineering and Technology; B for Brave and Brilliant by the College of Arts Sciences and Education an School of Criminology; A for Astounding by the School of Informatics and Hospitality Management and School of Business and Accountancy; and L for light by the Graduate School. Students, faculty members, administrators, and guests offered gifts and tokens to the president which he reciprocated with a cordial message of thanks. Moreover, the Aldersgate College Employees’ Association offered tokens to other June birthday celebrators. Mrs. Prescilla Esperanza A. Soriano, Executive Assistant for Education, delighted everyone with her closing remarks as she greeted the president and other June celebrators and discussed the traits one shows off as he ages. The celebration was also attended by members of the AC-Board of Trustees: Mr. Salvador Aquino and Rev. Nestor Tangunan, Solano-UMC Administrative Pastor. Other guests were Rev. Balligi Lorenzana, District Superintendent of the NVIWD; Rev. Dr. Jonathan Razon, School Chaplain; and Rev. Ike Galima, Solano UMC Associate Pastor. #AndellJTA
