Nguyen bags 2nd place in essay writing tilt

With the hope of winning the contest, Vien Pearl L. Nguyen placed 2nd in the Nutrition month celebration held at the Solano Municipal Hall last July  21, 2010.

Participants from the public and private schools in Solano joined the essay contest as well as the comics strip and rap contest which was open to high school students only.  The contests were held at the sanguniangbayan Hall, at the multipurpose  hall and municipal grounds respectively.

Judges came from the offices of the municipality. The municipal health office sponsored the activity with the   theme: Sa pagkaing  tama at sapat, wastong timbang ni baby ang katapat.

Awarding  ceremony was held last July 26, 2010 at   the Solano municipal hall.  Winner and participants from the different schools  received certificates and cash prizes.
