AC holds Intercollegiate confab

To hone the journalistic skills of students from elementary to college, the Paragon college moderator, Mr. Jenifer Raymond R. Tallungan initiated the conduct of the Aldersgate College Intercollegiate Press Conference last August 13- 14 at the Audio Visual Room enthemed “ Crossing the Horizons Through the Mighty Pen”.

Five lecturers presented each assigned topic in powerpoint. Mrs. Rizalyn L. Esquivel lectured on news writing; Mrs. Debora B. Sampaga, feature writing and poetry writing; Mr. Jobrahm Vincent G. Gauuan, sports writing, copyreading, and headline writing; Mrs. Marissa J. Taguinod, photojournalism and lay outing and Mr. Jenifer Raymond R. Talungan, Editorial Writing and Cartooning. After every lecture, writing workshop followed.
