ADMISSIONS AND ENROLLMENT

Graduate School of Education – Admission Standards
  1. Pre-requisite Undergraduate Degree. The Graduate Education Program is open to holders of Bachelor of Education degrees. Holders of other degree courses like liberal arts, physical and social sciences, business and engineering are required to have completed 18 units of Education in the undergraduate level. A student may be allowed to enroll the pre-requisite under-graduate subjects while enrolled in the Graduate School of Education. However, the pre-requisite undergraduate subjects for the graduate subject currently taken must have already been completed.
  2. Average Grade. Students with an average of B or 2.0 in their undergraduate shall be eligible for admission. Students who do not meet this requirement may be allowed to enroll a maximum of 12 units as probationary students. If they get an average grade of 1.75 or higher, they are qualified to become regular students and continue on with their graduate studies.
  3. Committee on Admissions. The Committee on Admissions shall evaluate, advice and screen prospective graduate students.
  4. Documentary Requirements. Student applicants are required to submit the following:
    • Official Transcript of Records
    • Permit to Study (for government employees only)
    • 3 copies 1 x 1 I.D. picture (for new students only)
  5. Interviews. Student applicants are required to complete the following:
    • Structured Written Interview
    • Personal Interview by the Dean

Graduate School of Management
  1. Pre-requisite Undergraduate Degree. The Graduate Management Program is open to holders of Bachelors of Business, Accountancy, and Economics degrees. Holders of other degree courses like education, liberal arts, physical and social sciences, and engineering are required to have completed 12 units of Accounting, and 6 units of Management in the undergraduate level.  A student may be allowed to enroll the pre-requisite under-graduate subjects while enrolled in the Graduate School of Management. However, the pre-requisite undergraduate subjects for the graduate subject currently taken must have already been completed.
  2. Average Grade. Students with an average of B or 2.0 in their undergraduate shall be eligible for admission.
